How To Change Default Font In Microsoft Word

 

If your like me, then Microsoft’s current default text (Calibri) makes you cringe every time you look at it.  I’n not entirely sure what the reason behind the awful, pixelated text they choose to set for their default font, but good news… it can be changed so you never have to look at it again!  Follow the quick 4 steps outlined below to change your default font for good.

 

Step #1: Open up a blank Word document

Step # 2: Select the font dialogue box located to in the font section of the home tab of Word

Step 3: Choose Font, Type, and Size and select “set as default”

Step 4: Choose “All documents based on the Normal Template” and select OK

And that’s it!  No more looking at the terrible font they call Calibri!!
