In 2023, SEO was introduced as the next step in growing their digital presence.

When WebHorse began incorporating SEO into The Grate Haus’s digital strategy in 2023, the foundation was already there: a trusted local business with over 20 years of experience and a loyal customer base that WebHorse had already been working with since 2022. What was missing was a digital presence strong enough to match it. The first year of SEO was about building that foundation online: optimizing the site, cleaning up the structure, targeting the right keywords, and establishing the kind of consistent presence that Google rewards over time.

The result was a 31.03% increase in website traffic in year one, with 30.52% new users coming to the site.

Year two built on that foundation. With the groundwork in place, WebHorse shifted focus to expanding keyword reach, strengthening local SEO, and pushing for visibility in the Google Maps local pack, one of the highest value pieces of real estate in local search. Traffic grew another 13.42% in 2024, and the momentum behind the scenes was building toward something much bigger.

By 2025 the compounding effect of three straight years of consistent SEO work hit full stride. Traffic surged 46.79% with 43.46% new users โ€” the biggest single year jump of the entire engagement. Google Search Console data from October 2024 to February 2026 showed clicks up 70.2% and impressions up 78%. And the Google Maps results spoke for themselves: from zero number one rankings in 2023 to 57 number one rankings in the local pack.
